Taking place for the first time in the African continent, we are delighted that the 16^h World Congress of the International Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association will meet in Cape Town for this special event.

The Scientific Committee of IHPBA and the Local Organising Committee are working hard to provide a diverse scientific program with participation from a variety of international speakers. 

An outstanding scientific program is currently being organised that provides an excellent opportunity for learning, discussion and scientific exchanges with colleagues and peers from all regions of the world.  Our programme combines current evidence and state-of-the-art lectures.
